Jess is a multifaceted beauty professional and owner of The GorJess Life, a Memphis-based hair brand that restores women’s confidence in their natural hair through healthy hair care regimens, quality extensions, and versatile enhancement techniques. Jess has 9+ years of professional experience in the beauty industry. She is a licensed stylist and received her formal education from Paul Mitchell the School Memphis. Additionally, she also received specialized Certifications in Microlink Extensions from notable industry stylist. Jess is passionate about creating memorable experiences with her clients. She wants them to love their hair on a daily basis and exude confidence in any setting!

 

In 2017, Jess launched the ‘Let’s LINK Up’ Microlink training Academy for hairstylist worldwide. Through this curriculum, Jessica is able to educate current and future licensed professionals on the theory and application process for a flawless Microlink installation. Jess is always accepting new students and provides three different learning settings for her classes: group, private 1on1, and virtually through instructional videos.

 

Jess caters to her clients inside of The CHIC Standard Salon, a full-service beauty concept in Memphis, TN, which she owns with her twin sister Jasmine. Her mission is simple, let’s change the notion that just because it looks natural doesn’t mean it has to be boring!
